Alan also Chairs the Board of the Canoe Association for Northern Ireland (a charity). Before starting his own boutique consultancy, THE INSIGHT FACTORY in 2000 Alan worked for a range of international organisations such as Avis Europe, Fore Systems (now Marconi), Druid Systems (now Xansa) and BEENZ.COM (the first digital currency). He has over 35 years international business experience in Identity & Culture transformation, Sales, Consultancy, Customer Relationship Management, eCommerce and IT, particularly in the High Tech, CRM and Internet start-up arenas. His roles have included business analyst, European Data Centre Manager, European Director of IT, Operations Director and Senior Consultant in Customer Relationship Management and eCommerce and CEO, Managing Director & Chairperson. He is a LEGO SERIOUS PLAY & Experiential Business Learning facilitator. His main success criteria were to deliver services that meet and exceed business expectations.
Alan has been retained to help & support organisations Internationally as well as across NI, ROI & GB to develop and deliver their Leadership, Cultural Transformations, corporate growth and exit strategies. In this capacity he has helped organisations such as Avis Europe, GSK, B9, Accenture, BT, O2, Government Agencies, Hay Group, Irish Football Association, Bank of Ireland, Reuters, Panasonic Avionics, Datactics, PWC, Accenture, Edwards & Co, Novosco, Inonology, W5, Belfast Met, Danfoss, LEGO Group, Invest NI etc.

He is also a Certified LEGO Serious Play Partner and Master Facilitator since 2003, Certified to deliver The TAS Group Sales Methodologies (i.e. Target Account Selling), Certified in the Hay Groups Emotional Intelligence Competence Inventory as well as a Certified NLP Practitioner. He also has an MSc in Coaching and Organisational Development and is a member of the Institute of Directors, Sales Institute of Ireland.
Steve has over 30 years of international business experience in sales, business management, and management development, drawing his experience from a number of different multi-national companies.
In management positions in the eighties and early nineties he played a major part in changing company culture, learning and developing his coaching skills and directly applying them, achieving powerful results from various sales and business teams.

He has studied with the School Of Coaching, Inner Game Coaching & Team Coaching (Working Together) with Timothy Gallwey & Valerio Pascotto of IGEOS, and Performance Coaching with Sir John Whitmore of Performance Consultants.. He is a Certified Lego Serious Play Partner and Facilitator, He is also studying for an MSc in Coaching and Development and is a member of the Institute of Directors.
For the last 12 years, Vic has been Europe’s leading proponent and practitioner of High Performance Management. Prior to independent consulting and coaching, Vic has 20 years of experience in Human Resources, including the role of European HR Director with both British and U.S. multi-nationals.
He has a BSc. Honours Degree in Psychology and is a member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development.
